I discovered Photography and especially night photography through urban exploration. All started a day of mid August 2005 as I was just back from an diplomatic internship in South America.
A friend told me that he was going in the Paris underneaths that we call commonly catacombs. As I jointed, I encounted a deep feeling that I never had before…. Mid frighted mid excited…

Then basically, exploration became like an addiction. I wanted to feel again the same sensation… I can’t tell you if exploration could be compared to cocaine, crack or ecstasy but when you don’t perceive the time anymore, you are above all day to day issues and you breath again….
Exploration always bring you ahead because you need to find new places to meet your limits again… You become then more and more sneaky and aware of the environment around you.

In may 2006, I started taking my first pictures of those hidden places with my Fudji S5600 and a tripod… Pictures after pictures, I improved… and I started quickly to have pleasure to shot the world around me.

Getting those powerful shots of the forbidden worlds offers you sometime intense pleasure that I would call “photographic orgasm”. The sensation of  getting the one picture. It represents usually 1/100 of the total taken.

Later on I noticed that others types of photography could be interesting too. This website as a consequence will also show you different photos of people, landscapes, sport events... that I took recently.

Living in Dublin has been a revelation for me because I was alone to explore the city… The first exploration by myseft was very impressive.  But I realized that exploring alone could also be a real pleasure that you share only with yourself.

I dedicate this site to all the beautiful photographies that I miss everyday while I am crossing the town…
